First-Ever Policy on Strategic Religious Engagement

As a communications consultant for Knowledge Partners on the USAID DEVELOP contract, Peel supported the launch of USAID’s first-ever policy recognizing religious communities and faith-based organizations as essential partners in development. Peel played a key role in developing the launch communications strategy, which included a high-profile live event featuring USAID’s Administrator and other senior leaders. Additional work included creating a dedicated policy page on USAID.gov, a comprehensive communications toolkit with key messages for Missions, and a series of case studies showcasing success stories. To further engage stakeholders, Peel helped produced social media content and an animated video that provided a clear and compelling overview of the policy’s key principles and significance. Through this work, Peel helped ensure a successful and impactful rollout of this groundbreaking initiative.
